Friendly staff and always willing to help.
This was a hard rating to consider. I think it's related to the typical 100 great experiences then 1 bad experience can ruin it all.I think the management are amazing, the staff are very friendly and have a very family/friendly happy attitude when you place a phone order. You're also greeted politely when in store. The wait times are acceptable as it is a busy little shop and with such friendly staff you're happy to wait as you can see them doing their best to help everyone.Unfortunately due to a rather bad experience, I would suggest with some newer staff my Wife and I have stopped visiting so much. There is no need to elaborate however we did speak to the staff there and no action was taken to rectify our rather negative experience.Overall I do recommend people going here, over many other take away stores in town, it's even worth a drive to go here.I would love to give it a 5 stars, especially after the amazing renovations but I think the rating should be based on our overall experience and I can't ignore the negative visit.*Update*Hi Jason, happy to shoot you an email for some constructive feedback on the experience? Hope this isn't the best Launceston has too offer. Very disappointed don't expect fresh unless your after a beef or steak burger. Price wasn't to bad but you get what you paid for .
When we dropped in one Sunday night to grab dinner the shop was incredibly busy. Despite the long que the wait was comparatively short. The staff are quick and efficient but also polite. The food is also quite good. I would recommend Prospect Fish Shop as one of the better Fish and Chip Shops in Launceston.
BIG thumbs up! 3 staff & a busy store handled better & faster than McD's. Only grabbed a hamburger but it was it was pretty damn good. Cheers. C.
